Fiday 16th April - Roger Hickman’s Restaurant Roger, the former head chef at Adlard’s on Upper St. Giles, has taken over the restaurant.

20th November - The EACH Charity Ball

2009 Norwich Beer Festival
The 32nd Norwich Beer Festival, organised by the Norwich & Norfolk Branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), will be held at St. Andrew's and Blackfriars' Halls from October 26th to 31st 2009. Over 200 cask-conditioned Real Ales from Britain's independent brewers will be on sale, along with draught and bottled beers from Continental Europe. Saturday 18th July - Taverham Exploding Brass - relaxed afternoon and evening in the grounds of Taverham School. Tickets must be booked directly with Taverham Band. Gates open around 5.30pm - bring your own chairs!

Sun 21st June - Southwold by Bus - a chance to travel in a RouteMaster Bus. Brewery Tour, Wine Tasting, Pre lunch drinks and Canapé, traditional Sunday lunch in the Crown with three glasses of wine:

19th January 2007: - Food & Wine matching evening. Matching wine with Italian style food, hosted by Mike & Josie Kirkham A fantastic evening was enjoyed by the club. Charity Cheese & Wine Tasting at Brasteds Framingham Pigot
An enjoyable and successful evening in support of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute (RNLI.) Eight interesting wines were supplied by our sponsors on the night,The Imperial Wine Company, and some magnificent cheeses by The Cheese Truckle.
